Walker Media Company, LLC (WMCO) was founded in 2012 and was inspired by our Treeing Walker Coonhound, Apalachicola "Cola." Known for her incredible nose and relentless drive, Cola taught us the value of perseverance and dedication. Much like her unwavering spirit in the field, our commitment is simple: once we take on a project, we never give up until we deliver the best possible results.

With more than 25 years of leadership experience in some of the nation’s top companies, Michael Perez brings a wealth of knowledge in marketing, technology, and strategic growth to The Walker Media Company. His corporate background has provided him with a strong foundation in business strategy, while his work as a professional whitetail guide in Texas and as the owner of both a successful whitetail and hog outfitting business and the largest hog-only hunting preserve in the Southeast has given him a rare and authentic perspective within the outdoor industry.

This combination of corporate expertise and hands-on hunting experience allows Michael to understand both the business and the passion that drives his clients. At WMCO, he leads with a focus on delivering measurable results while maintaining a personal connection with every client, ensuring that each partnership reflects the authenticity and tradition of the hunting and outdoor lifestyle.

Joseph Perez

Website Design & SEO Strategy Manager

Joseph began his career with The Walker Media Company in 2016, working part-time in website design while pursuing his Business Management degree at Saint Leo University, which he completed in 2018. Following graduation, he guided full-time whitetail and hog hunts, an experience that not only fueled his passion for the outdoors but also gave him an authentic perspective on the industry. In 2020, Joseph was promoted to Website Design and SEO Strategy Manager, where he now oversees the creation of high-performing websites and develops SEO strategies tailored specifically to the hunting and outdoor market.

Joseph’s connection to the outdoors runs deep. Introduced to hunting at age six alongside his father, he received his first shotgun at ten and harvested his first big game animal at eleven. Today, that same passion drives his professional work; there is little that excites him more than building digital platforms that highlight the incredible animals, land, and traditions each ranch and outfitter has to offer. By combining technical expertise with his love for the outdoors, Joseph helps clients grow their businesses in a way that feels both strategic and authentic.
